The essentials: ribbed turn-up beanie in 4 colours - black, light grey, grey, navy - with a white stitched label carrying the NO BOXING NO LIFE lettering and the CA monogram of Canelo Álvarez, flanked by two stars. 21.5 cm / 8.5 in tall with the cuff folded, one size. €29, free delivery.
A monogram that reads both ways
The mark printed under the lettering is the personal monogram of Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez, a C and an A interlocked into a single angular shape with pointed ends. The C reads on the left, the A overlays the centre.
That kind of mark belongs to a precise tradition in the sport: the fighter becomes his own sign. The monogram turns up on the shorts, on the gloves, on the ring-walk kit, and ends up on what the crowd wears - to the point of being recognised with no name written beside it. That is exactly what is happening here: the mark sits at the foot of the label, and the boxer's name appears nowhere on it.
What is on the beanie
Vertical ribbed knit, wide cuff. The white label is stitched at the centre of the cuff. The lettering runs over three serif lines: NO small at the top, BOXING large, then NO LIFE with two black stars either side. The CA monogram takes the bottom, in black.
On the navy, the white ground of the label picks up a lavender cast against the dark knit. On the light grey and the grey, the label sits closer to the knit and it is the black lettering that carries the reading.

Frequently asked questions
What does No Boxing No Life mean?
Taken literally, no boxing, no life. The phrase is associated with Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez, whose CA monogram sits just beneath it on the label.
What is the mark under the lettering?
A C and an A interlocked: the initials of Canelo Álvarez, drawn as a single angular shape with pointed ends.
What size should I choose?
One size: the ribbed knit stretches both ways. The height is set by the number of cuff turns, from 21.5 cm / 8.5 in folded to 28.5 cm / 11.2 in unfolded, for 21 cm / 8.3 in wide flat.
How does it differ from the printed No Boxing No Life beanie?
This one is a turn-up knit with a stitched label and a double thickness over the ears. The other is a long beanie printed over the whole surface, in 9 designs.
How do you wash a beanie without stretching it?
Hand wash cold, no spin, then dry flat. A beanie hung up or put through a tumble dryer stretches out and loses the hold that keeps it over the ears. Do not iron the stitched label.
