🥊 The tracksuit was born in changing rooms, not on the street
Before it was a street garment, the tracksuit had a precise function, and it comes from combat sports as much as from athletics: maintaining body temperature between two efforts.
A boxer does not spend the session punching. They run, they skip, they shadow box, then they wait their turn on the bag or on the pads. It is during those dead moments that muscle temperature falls — and a cold muscle is a muscle that gets injured. The tracksuit goes back on the moment you stop, and comes off the moment you start again.
That explains two details people take for decoration. The full-length zip: you have to be able to open it in one movement without going over the head, with gloves on or wraps in place. And the cuffed ankle: it does not ride up when you skip and does not drag on the floor as you move.
🔍 Two-piece set or bottoms alone
Six models out of eight are sets, top and bottom matched and sold together at a single price. That is what you take for a club, an away trip or a team photograph: visual consistency reads at a distance, where two mismatched pieces say nothing.
Two models are bottoms sold alone — the Esprit Boxe cargo jogger and the Lonsdale jogger. The right choice if you already have the top, or want to pair joggers with a hoodie chosen separately.

👕 Hood, stand collar or contrasting panels
The top changes everything in use, and the three constructions do different jobs.
A hood — on the hooded training set and the Lonsdale set — covers the head on roadwork and on the way out of the gym. The warmest version, and the bulkiest to pack.
A stand collar — on the stand collar tracksuit — protects the neck without the volume of a hood. The manufacturer adds elastane, which prevents bagging at the knees and elbows after a few wears, the classic fault of a 100% polyester jogger.
Contrasting panels — on the Lonsdale sports set and the Esprit Boxe two-tone tracksuit — play on two assembled colours rather than a solid. They read from a distance, which is the intended effect on a bench or in a corridor at a show.
📏 Your size
All eight models come in 6 sizes, S to XXXL, in a European cut: take your usual size, with no Asian sizing conversion to apply. If you normally buy US sizes, American sizing runs more generous, so consider one size up for a relaxed fit.
One exception to know: the Lonsdale set is the only one offered in distinct men's and women's cuts rather than unisex — the selector shows the cut before the colour, for example “Women - Red”. The other seven models are unisex.
On a set, the top decides: tracksuit bottoms have a drawcord waist that takes up waist variation, jackets do not. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger — a tracksuit is worn over training kit.
🏷️ Kitting out a club
The custom club training set prints your logo on the chest, the back and the thigh, with the option of adding a role — coach, staff, competitor. A mock-up is submitted before manufacture: nothing goes into production without your approval.
To complete a club's kit, the custom boxing kit follows the same principle by sublimation, on the competition vest and short.
🧭 Where to start
For everyday wear, the stand-collar tracksuit: the elastane is what separates a tracksuit that holds its shape from one that bags out. For the gym and travel, the hooded training set. For a whole club, the custom club training set. And if you only need the bottoms, the Esprit Boxe cargo joggers come in 6 colours with cargo pockets.
❓ Frequently asked questions
What is a tracksuit for in boxing?
To maintain body temperature between two efforts. A boxer alternates running, skipping, shadow and waiting time: it is during those dead moments that muscle temperature falls, and a cold muscle is injured more easily. The tracksuit goes back on the moment you stop and comes off the moment you start again.
Are the top and bottom sold together?
On six models out of eight, yes: the price shown covers both pieces. Two references are bottoms sold alone, the Esprit Boxe cargo jogger and the Lonsdale jogger. The table on this page states what each model includes.
What size tracksuit should I choose?
Your usual size: all eight models are in a European cut, from S to XXXL. On a set, the top decides — the bottoms have a drawcord waist that takes up the waist, jackets do not. Between two sizes, take the larger: a tracksuit is worn over training kit.
Do you have a women's boxing tracksuit?
The Lonsdale set comes in distinct women's and men's cuts, across 9 colours — the selector shows the cut before the colour. The other seven models are unisex, from S to XXXL.
Can a tracksuit be printed with a club logo?
Yes, with the custom club training set: logo printed on the chest, back and thigh, with the option of adding a role — coach, staff, competitor. A mock-up is submitted before manufacture.
Why do some joggers bag at the knees?
Because a knit without elastane stretches where it bends and does not recover. The stand collar tracksuit includes elastane, which lets it return to shape after flexing — the most visible difference after a few weeks of wear.
How do I wash a tracksuit without damaging it?
Machine wash at 30 °C, garment inside out, no tumble dryer: heat relaxes the elastane and shrinks the ankle cuffs. No iron on the chest and thigh markings, and no fabric softener, which softens the ribbing.
