Two caps quoted at the same size are not worn the same way. What changes the look is not the head circumference but the crown height: 13 cm on a snapback, 9 cm on a curved peak. The first sits high on the skull and leaves the forehead clear, the second hugs the head and comes down lower. That is the first thing to look at, before the design.

To measure your head circumference, run a tape about 1 cm above the eyebrows and around the skull, over the bump at the back, without pulling tight. The detailed measurement tables are on the Everlast snapback for flat peaks and on the washed Canelo cap for curved peaks.

What size boxing cap should I choose?
Every cap in the collection is one adult size, adjustable, covering 55 to 59 cm of head circumference — roughly 21.5 to 23 inches. To measure yours, run a tape 1 cm above the eyebrows and around the skull over the bump at the back, without pulling tight. Measure twice. If you fall between two positions, a continuous strap (curved peak) adjusts more finely than a slider system.
What is the difference between a snapback, a curved peak and a trucker?
Crown height above all: 13 cm on a flat-peak snapback against 9 cm on a curved peak. The first sits high and leaves the forehead clear, the second hugs the skull. A trucker replaces the rear panels with mesh, which makes it markedly more breathable. The peak measures 7 cm in all three cases.
How do I wash a cap without deforming it?
By hand, in warm water at 30 °C maximum, with a mild soap and a soft brush on the inner sweatband, which is the first part to mark. No bleach, no tumble dryer. Air dry, resting on something round so the crown keeps its volume. A machine drum deforms the peak.
What is the difference between an embroidered and a printed cap?
Embroidery is done in thread and creates relief you can feel under a finger; mounted on foam, it casts a visible shadow from several metres and holds through washing. Printing is flat: it allows gradients, flags and even photographs set into lettering, which embroidery cannot reproduce. Each product page states the technique used.
Can a cap be worn for training?
For roadwork, warm-ups and outdoor sessions, yes — preferably a trucker, whose mesh rear panels release heat. In the ring and on the mat, no headwear is worn.
How do I curve a flat peak?
By hand, over a few days of wear, with no steam and no tools: the internal structure then keeps the shape you give it. Snapbacks ship flat and uncreased, which is the original way the format is worn. The sticker sometimes found on the peak comes off — it is there for shop-floor identification.
