🥊 Which boxing light to choose

The question that comes up most is not which one looks best but which one goes where. Four families, four uses:

💡 LED neon: what it actually is

Gas neon was presented by Georges Claude at the Grand Palais on 3 December 1910: a fragile glass tube running on high voltage. What is called neon today is something else — a flex LED cord sheathed in silicone, mounted on an acrylic sheet cut to the outline of the design. Same continuous line, no glass, no heat, instant switch-on.

Six pieces in this family: the 120 cm RGB boxing neon with its colour dimmer, the boxer neon in red and white, the boxing gloves neon, the UFC neon in two sizes, the MMA neon and the MMA fist neon in a square format. Five of them can be ordered in 10 monochrome colours and come with a brightness dimmer.

📏 Which size for which wall

The wall decoration rule: the lit piece covers about two thirds of the width of the furniture or surface it sits above, with its centre at 150 cm (59 in) from the floor. The full size table by wall type sets out the matches, from a desk to a home gym wall panel. In short: 50 × 20 cm above a desk or a console, 100 × 40 cm above a three-seat sofa, 120 × 40 cm on an open wall over 2.50 m, and a square 50 × 50 cm for a narrow wall between two doors.

⏱️ The boxing clocks

Four models, four positions. The gloves wall clock is the most legible: white dial, numbers 1 to 12 and minute-by-minute graduation, 7-colour backlighting. The boxer wall clock takes the opposite view with a black dial and no numbers, where the boxer is spelled out in words. The vinyl boxing clock is cut from a 30 cm disc, with 12 designs to choose from and an optional LED. The wooden boxing clock is the only one with no lighting electronics: laser-cut wood, no cable to hide.

All run on a quartz movement with an AA battery to supply, independent of the lighting.

🛏️ The engraved standing lamps

A laser-engraved acrylic sheet set into a base that lights it through the edge: only the engraved lines light up, the rest stays transparent. That is what gives the effect of a drawing in suspension.

The 7-colour boxing LED lamp carries a boxer with arms raised and the house logo; the boxing bedside lamp a hanging pair of gloves; the 3D boxer lamp a boxer in guard under a Boxing Club banner, remote included; the LED boxer night light a bust in guard with no text at all.

The wooden boxing night light is the exception: a solid wood frame of 19 × 19 cm and a fixed warm white light, with no colour cycle — the most restful for a bedroom.

🔦 The hanging pieces

Three wall formats that need no extensive drilling. The light-up boxing gloves hang from a single point, through the hole in the lace loop, at 40 × 28 cm and in five colours. The BOXING gloves neon hangs from two cables, with one red glove and one blue — the colours of the two corners of a ring. The lit boxing sign hangs from two chains and is controlled by RF remote, in three sizes up to 50 × 30 cm.

🏟️ For clubs and gyms

The round announcement light panel shows the round number, a black disc ringed with a white LED band: on video shot in a dark hall, a printed card disappears while a backlit number stays legible. The 120 cm RGB neon and the boxer neon take the reception wall. For the rest of the equipment, see boxing rings, punching bags and boxing gloves.

🖥️ And on the desk

The UFC RGB mouse mat closes the collection: a perimeter LED strip powered by USB, 9 designs and 5 sizes up to 100 × 50 cm. It is the only lit piece in the shop that lies flat.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Which boxing light makes a good gift?

For a contained budget, an engraved standing lamp is recognised instantly and sits on a bedside table or a desk. To make a statement, an LED neon becomes the centrepiece of a room. The model with the Esprit Boxe logo is the one identified without explanation.

What is the difference between an LED neon and real gas neon?

Gas neon is a glass tube running on high voltage, invented by Georges Claude and presented in 1910. Flex LED is a soft silicone cord mounted on an acrylic sheet: same continuous line, no glass, no heat, instant switch-on. It is what equips virtually every sign called neon today.

What size neon should I choose for a wall?

Allow about two thirds of the width of the furniture below it, centre at 150 cm (59 in) from the floor. Above a desk: 50 × 20 cm. Above a three-seat sofa: 100 × 40 cm. On an open wall over 2.50 m: 120 × 40 cm.

How do I hang an LED neon on a wall?

The acrylic sheet is drilled around its edge: plugs and screws in the wall, then the sheet sits against them, at a rate of one fixing point every 30 to 40 cm. The small pieces have a single hanging hole or two suspension cables, and need only one or two hooks.

Do the clocks need a battery?

Yes, the quartz movement runs on an AA battery to supply. It is independent of the lighting: on a backlit model you need the battery for the hands and the power connection for the light.

Are these lights suitable for a child's bedroom?

Yes. Every piece runs on extra-low voltage and the LEDs do not heat up. For a bedroom, the wooden night light gives a fixed warm white, with no colour cycle, and the base lamps accept 3 AA batteries to remove any cable.

The Esprit Boxe world

Light is only part of the wall. boxing canvas prints cover large surfaces by day, 5 piece boxing canvases walls over two metres, and boxing wall stickers fill in without drilling. On the object side, boxing glove necklaces and boxing blankets and towels extend the same world. And for those who train: boxing gloves, punching bags, punching bag wall mounts and boxing rings.
