One model, five finishes. The same sculpture exists in five shades, from matt black to aged copper, with no change of mould and no change of dimensions.
Three aged, two clean: two registers in one product
The aged copper, aged gold and aged silver finishes have darkened recesses that throw the laces forward - a workshop, old-school register. The polished silver and matt black finishes play evenness instead, closer to a contemporary look. The same glove, two opposite intentions.
The laces, the first thing you see
The glove is cast in the round, with the crossed laces in relief running the full height of the cuff and the knuckle roll clearly marked. On the three aged finishes, those laces stand out through the contrast between dark recesses and bright edges. On the polished silver and the matt black, relief alone draws them.
The five finishes
- Matt black: the plainest of the five, with no reflection. It settles into a keyring and shows no fingerprints.
- Aged gold: a matt gold leaning towards old brass rather than a bright gold. The warmest of the five.
- Aged copper: the most colourful, a pinkish orange with dark recesses. The quickest of the five to spot.
- Polished silver: bright and reflective. The most classic of the five.
- Aged silver: patinated grey, between the polished and the black. It brings the laces out without adding colour.
Why choose this keyring
- Five finishes on one sculpture, all at the same price.
- Crossed laces sculpted over the full height of the cuff.
- Short chain: the glove stays close to the ring and swings less.
- Wide flat ring: it takes a real bunch of keys and opens without costing you a fingernail.
- Metal: it holds its shape and is unaffected by water or sweat.
- Free standard delivery.

Worth knowing before you buy
The aged finishes evolve, the other two do not. On aged copper, gold and silver, the patina lightens at the contact points and the contrast with the recesses deepens: the object improves. Polished silver and matt black keep the shade of day one. Choose according to what you want to be looking at in two years.
Matt black is the most forgiving. No shine to dull, no patina to protect, no fingerprints on show: it is the finish for a heavy bunch of keys that gets no special treatment.
Never use polishing paste on the aged finishes. It would lift the patina out of the recesses and the glove would lose its relief for good.
Care
A soft dry cloth. On polished silver, a microfibre brings the shine straight back. On the aged finishes, a dry soft toothbrush clears dust from between the laces without touching the patina. After salt or chlorinated water, rinse in clean water and dry thoroughly.
Frequently asked questions
Which finishes are available?
Five: aged copper, aged gold, aged silver, polished silver and matt black. All at the same price, on the same sculpted glove.
What is the difference between polished silver and aged silver?
Polished silver is bright and reflective, even in tone. Aged silver is patinated grey with darkened recesses, which brings the crossed laces out clearly without adding colour.
Is the gold bright or matt?
Matt. It is an aged gold leaning towards old brass, with darker recesses, rather than a bright gold. For a mirror-bright look, polished silver is the one to pick.
Which finish holds up best day to day?
Matt black: no shine to dull, no patina to protect, no fingerprints on show. The aged finishes improve with use as their contrast deepens, and polished silver comes back with a wipe of microfibre.
Do you get one glove or two?
One. For a hanging pair, see our boxing gloves pair keyring, or the mini gloves keyring in seven colours.
Does it make a good club gift?
It is one of the easiest: five finishes at the same price let you give a different shade to each member, with no size to know, on a metal object that lasts.
