The essentials: in Mexico two dates belong to boxing — 5 May and the weekend of 16 September, Independence Day. On those nights a fighter is not only representing himself, and this artwork stages exactly that: flag, national coat of arms and a declaration, stacked like a fight-night banner. Premium cotton 180 gsm, crew neck, heat transfer print. 13 colourways, the widest choice in the Canelo family, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
A fighter who has been rocked is still standing, but his legs have answered for him.
This tee says that does not happen — and it says it in three tiers: a slogan, a flag and a national crest.
Two weekends a year
Two dates in Mexico have been claimed by boxing: 5 May, and the weekend of 16 September, Independence Day. Since the 1990s those two slots have been kept for the big fights of Mexican champions — a tradition set by Julio César Chávez, carried on by Oscar De La Hoya, and inherited by Canelo Alvarez.
Being handed those dates is not a scheduling matter. It is a duty: on those nights the fighter is not only representing himself, and the crowd expects to see it — in the kit, the ring walk, the flag included.
That is precisely what this artwork stages. Not a logo, not a portrait: a flag, a state crest and a declaration, stacked like a fight-night banner.
The slogan, and what it actually means
CAN'T BE STOPPED speaks for itself. The second half needs a word of explanation for anyone outside the sport.
To rock is boxing shorthand for shaking an opponent, making him wobble under a shot without necessarily putting him down. A fighter who has been rocked is still on his feet, but his legs have spoken. Saying a man cannot be rocked is saying he takes it without stepping back.
What it looks like on
The composition reads across three tiers, centred on the upper chest.
Top: TEAM in small capitals, then CANELO ALVAREZ in large worn sand capitals, curved in an arc over the rest.
Centre: the CA monogram filled with the Mexican flag — green left, white centre, red right — in a cracked texture. Either side, over two lines each: CAN'T BE STOPPED on the left, CAN'T BE ROCKED on the right.
Bottom: the golden eagle of the Mexican coat of arms, in colour, perched on a prickly pear with a serpent in its beak, inside its wreath of laurel and oak. Four stars frame it, two either side.
The whole print is deliberately weathered: eaten letters, cracked blocks, colours slightly faded. It imitates an old screen print, the kind of supporter's tee kept from one September night to the next.
It is the densest composition in the Canelo family after the collages, and the most explicitly Mexican: flag and national coat of arms in the same artwork.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
The detail that matters: the lettering is sand and the crest contains light areas — it is on the dark grounds (black, navy, dark grey, purple, military green, coffee brown) that the composition gives its full measure, the three tiers reading clearly apart. On light shades the result is softer, closer to a garment faded by time — which suits the vintage intent just as well.

Frequently asked questions
What does can't be rocked mean in boxing?
To rock is boxing shorthand for shaking an opponent — making him wobble under a shot without necessarily dropping him. A fighter who has been rocked is still on his feet, but his legs have spoken. Saying a man cannot be rocked is saying he takes it without stepping back.
Why does Canelo Alvarez fight in May and September?
They are the two traditional dates of Mexican boxing: 5 May and the weekend of 16 September, Mexican Independence Day. The tradition was set by Julio César Chávez, carried on by Oscar De La Hoya, then inherited by Canelo Alvarez. On those nights the headlining Mexican fighter represents his country as much as himself.
Why does the print look worn?
It is a deliberate weathered effect. The sand lettering and the flag inside the monogram are cracked, like an old print: that is supporter-tee vintage code. It will not spread in the wash, because it is printed in.
How many colourways are available?
Thirteen: black, sand, grey, dark grey, green, military green, purple, red, white, blue, navy, yellow and coffee brown. That is the widest choice in the Canelo family, seven sizes each from S to 4XL.
How does it differ from the Mexican flag tee?
The text. Same flag, same crest, same patina, but this one adds two slogans and the full eagle under the monogram. The Mexican flag model is silent: the monogram and the name, nothing else.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Seven sizes, S to 4XL, with the chest running from about 96 cm / 38 in to 132 cm / 52 in.
