This 25 cm / 10 in round mini shield fills the gap: thick enough to take heavy shots safely, compact enough to stay manageable for a whole session. It is the tool for a coach who wants to work on punching power without wearing themselves out holding a full-size shield.
25 x 10 cm: the right balance
The 10 cm / 4 in of thickness is what separates this shield from a focus mitt: that mass of high density foam absorbs far more powerful impacts without the shock travelling up the arms of whoever is holding. The 25 cm / 10 in diameter keeps the whole thing light and quick to move: its compact size makes it very manoeuvrable for the coach, where a classic shield forces a static position.
Real leather with a laced build
The shell is real leather, assembled with exposed leather lacing around the whole rim — the traditional build of club equipment, stronger than plain stitching and repairable. Two reinforced handles
