The essentials: a canvas boxing boot, high top to just below the calf, 3 diagonal stripes on the side, a pull loop at the heel, and one of the thinnest soles in the range. 4 colourways: black and gold, navy and white, grey and black, white and silver. 10 sizes, EU 36 to 45 (US men's 4 to 11.5). €99, free shipping.
Stand this boot on a table and look at it side on: the sole is a single line. That is the point of the model — the least possible material between foot and floor. The accepted figure for a boxing shoe is 2 to 5 mm / 0.08 to 0.2 in at the forefoot, flat and with no heel drop, and this one sits at the bottom of that range.
What it changes in use: you feel the weave of the ring canvas under your toes, you correct a loss of balance before it becomes a step, and the foot works almost as it would bare, with the ankle support added.
Four colourways, one canvas
- Black — textured black canvas, three gold stripes, black laces, black sole with a white edge line.
- Navy — navy canvas, three white stripes, navy toe, white sole.
- Grey — grey canvas, three black stripes, light grey toe, white sole.
- White — white canvas, three silver stripes in slight relief, white sole.
A pull loop is stitched at the back of the heel on all four versions. It is there so you pull the boot on upwards instead of pushing the foot in, a habit that eventually crushes the heel counter.
The canvas, and why it holds
A tightly woven textile stretches very little across its width but takes flexion. The upper therefore follows the ankle at every step without hollowing or creasing in the same place, as a coated synthetic does. It is also the most breathable material, which counts on an upper that reaches the calf.

Good to know: a thin sole puts ground feedback ahead of cushioning. On long skipping sets, an added insole brings comfort without changing the stack height.

Frequently asked questions
How thick should a boxing shoe sole be?
The accepted figure is 2 to 5 mm / 0.08 to 0.2 in at the forefoot, flat and with no heel drop. Below that the foot works almost as it would bare; this thickness still lets you feel the ring canvas as you adjust balance during a punch.
Why a canvas boxing shoe rather than a synthetic one?
A tightly woven textile stretches very little across its width but takes flexion: the upper follows the ankle without hollowing or creasing in the same place. Canvas also breathes better, which counts on an upper reaching the calf.
What is the loop at the back of the heel for?
Pulling the boot on upwards instead of pushing the foot in. Pushing crushes the heel counter, the stiff piece that holds the back of the foot — and a collapsed counter does not come back.
How do you clean canvas boxing shoes?
A damp cloth straight after the session, before the mark dries. For an older mark, a soft brush and household soap. No machine, which distorts the construction, and no radiator, which stiffens the adhesives.
Which shoe for savate?
The canvas high top is the historic build for the discipline. Article 13.3.3 of the FFSBFDA refereeing rules requires a smooth sole with rounded edges and laces covered or taped in competition; check federation approval with your club.
Can these shoes be used for lifting?
The flat, very thin sole suits deadlifts and squats, where you want direct contact with the floor and a stable base. The high top adds ankle support that most weightlifting shoes do not offer.
