The hexagonal MMA cage is an alternative to the standard octagonal format: six walls instead of eight, for a visual identity of your own on the fighting stage. Raised on a platform and edged by a perimeter sidewalk, it is built for events and for the show.
The set arrives complete and ready to build: 6 posts, the MMA panels that slot onto them (one with two gates), platform, deck, mat, canvas and perimeter skirt, sidewalk and two sets of access steps. Nothing else to plan before installing your raised hexagon.
And nothing is fixed: colours and design of the mat, the skirt, the corner protection and the logos on the pads. Our designer sets the configuration to your club's or your event's identity.

Why a hexagonal format?
The octagon is the MMA standard. The hexagon carries a rarer visual signature that sets your fighting stage apart at a glance. Its six walls draw a clean fighting area, with defined angles that structure the space. The format is not a novelty: the PFL (Professional Fighters League), one of the major American promotions, fights in a six-sided cage it officially calls the SmartCage, and Strikeforce used it historically, before its purchase by the UFC. Choosing the hexagon also lets you follow the unified rules of MMA while staying clear of the Octagon, the eight-sided shape tied to the UFC's registered trademark.
The sidewalk: lighting and capture
A perimeter platform 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in wide runs around the fighting area. Its grilled zone takes the lighting, and the TV mounts let camera crews work from the platform, at the height of the action rather than from the floor.

What floor space and what headroom do you need?
The size quoted is that of the fighting area. The sidewalk adds 1 m / 3 ft 3 in on each side: an 8 × 8 m cage therefore occupies 10 × 10 m / 32 ft 10 in square on the floor, sidewalk included. Allow circulation and the projection of the two sets of steps on top of that. For height, the 100 cm platform adds to the 1.90 m / 6 ft 3 in panels: count close to 3 m / 9 ft 10 in at the top of the mesh, plus the clearance above.
