The upper section is broad and slightly domed, which gives the angled surface a rising punch needs. Below it the bag narrows into a body target. Leather reinforcement patches sit at the hanging points.

Cut textile and rags packed down tight for the body of the bag, with a little sand or granulate in sealed bags at the base if you want more weight. Never loose sand: it settles and hardens.
