Can a wall bag be fixed to a plasterboard partition?
No — a load-bearing wall is required: concrete, breeze block or solid brick. Plasterboard cannot take the repeated load of striking. The supplied fixings are sized for masonry.
Does a wall bag stop the noise reaching the neighbours?
It removes the chain noise entirely, since there is none. The impact still travels into the wall, so a solid masonry wall — which absorbs more than a partition — gives the quietest result.
Can you hit a wall bag at full power?
Yes, that is what the bracket is sized for. A wall bag does not move, so the shot is fully absorbed by the padding and the fixing rather than pushing the target away.
