In short: The white snake head on a black ground, over a graded dot pattern with a red accent line. The plainest version of the family. 8 sizes, XS to 4XL. €29.
The snake head, or the most legible logo in MMA
A combat-sports logo has to pass one test: stay identifiable at ten metres, in movement, on compressed video. That is why the brands in this sector favour closed shapes and symmetry — a fine drawing disappears the moment a fighter moves.
A snake’s fangs meet that brief exactly: two vertical strokes under a triangular head, all of it symmetrical. There is nothing to lose at distance, because there is almost nothing there to begin with. It is the same reasoning behind a football crest or a road sign.
What the shorts look like
Plain black ground, animated by a graded dot pattern rising from the thigh to the right hip. The white snake head sits on that pattern, underlined by a vertical red stroke.
The waistband is black. Clean side slits. Sublimated print.
The most neutral ground in the snake family
Five grounds carry the same snake head. This is the only one that is entirely black: the graded dot pattern is all that animates the surface, and the red line is the only accent.
The practical consequence is that it works with any rashguard, where the camouflage and honeycomb versions impose a palette. For the full detail of the fight short cut, see the grey geometric fight short.

Worth knowing: plain black is the one ground in the family that never fights with the rest of your kit. If you own one fight short, this is the one that goes with everything.
Getting the size right
European cut — take your usual size. Eight sizes, XS to 4XL, where most of the market stops at XXL on a fight short. The dot pattern is scaled per size, so the gradient holds the same proportion from XS to 4XL. The drawcord takes up a change in waist measurement. In a groin guard, go one size up.
Also worth a look
- White snake MMA shorts — the same head reversed to black on white, if you want a light kit.
- Red snake MMA shorts — the same head on a brick red ground, if you want colour.
- Grey geometric MMA shorts — angular grey shapes with no figure, if you want no logo at all.
- To complete the kit: boxing t-shirts and boxing hoodies.
- To gear up: boxing gloves, mouthguards and hand wraps.

Frequently asked questions
How many colourways are in this range?
Five grounds carry this logo: grey camouflage, black, brick red, white, and a black and red honeycomb version. Each runs from XS to 4XL.
What is the difference between MMA shorts and boxing shorts?
An MMA short is built for the ground as well as the feet. It runs longer, to just above the knee, with a side slit on each leg so a closed guard and a leg pass do not bind the hip, and a flat drawcord waistband that stays tied when an opponent pulls on it. Boxing shorts have none of that.
Do these fit true to size?
Yes. European cut — take your usual size. Eight sizes run XS to 4XL. The drawcord takes up a change in waist measurement. If you train in a groin guard, go one size up.
Does the print wear off in the wash?
No. The design is sublimated into the fibre rather than laid on top of it, so there is no layer to crack or peel on the mat. Wash inside out at 30 °C / 86 °F and skip the fabric softener.
Do these come in big and tall sizes?
Yes, up to 4XL. Most of the market stops at XXL on a fight short.
How do you wash MMA shorts?
Machine wash inside out at 30 °C / 86 °F, no tumble dryer, and no iron on the design. Avoid fabric softener: it coats the weave and slows how fast sweat moves through it.
