On three of the four designs the belts are painted precisely enough to be told apart: the green WBC, a plate on red leather, a third with a gold medallion. That detail dates the image — one fighter held them together, at twenty.

Opaque back, full-surface print
The artwork covers the whole back, edge to edge, with no transparency and no plain border: that is what lets a dense composition like the magazine cover hold on the surface. Good to know: the magazine cover carries cover lines in small type. They read on a Pro Max or a Plus; on a 12 mini or a 13 mini it is the portrait and MANLY MAN STYLE that carry the image. The other three designs keep the same legibility on every format. To clean, a soft cloth barely dampened then dried; since the print sits on the surface, keep alcohol, acetone and solvents away from it.

How does it differ from the clear Tyson case?
This one has an opaque back: the artwork covers the whole back edge to edge and the case goes down to the iPhone 7. The other sets the artwork at the centre of a light back, with a coloured frame and the MIKE TYSON name repeated all round, and offers five designs from the iPhone 11 up.
What are the three belts on the artwork?
The three major world heavyweight belts brought together in the late 1980s, of which the green WBC is the most recognisable. On the artwork each plate is painted with its own leather colour and medallion, which is why they can be told apart.
Is the magazine cover text readable?
The masthead and MANLY MAN STYLE read on every format. The cover lines, in small type down the left column, are comfortable from a Plus or a Pro Max. On a mini, the portrait carries the image.
Does the case protect the screen?
It is a back case: it covers the back and all four sides. For the screen, the companion piece is tempered glass — the two do different jobs and fit together.
