Red and black boxing shoes

The essentials: low-top boxing shoes in red and black. Tight red mesh upper, black collar and heel, red lining. All-red non-marking sole with four circular pivot zones. 10 sizes, EU 37 to 46 (UK 4 to 11.5). €69, free shipping.
A rubber compound coloured through and non-marking is the gym standard: it is what keeps sliding steps from leaving streaks on a wooden floor or a light ring canvas.
A coloured sole that does not mark the floor
On this model the whole sole is red, wrap-around edge included, which gives a clean visual line in profile. The tread follows the pivot logic: four circular zones, two under the forefoot and two under the heel, each filled with chevrons, joined by a studded panel under the arch. A circular pattern behaves the same whichever way you turn, where straight ribs resist more in one direction.
What it looks like
Tight red mesh over the forefoot, matt panels, black collar and heel, red ventilated lining. Seen from above, the inside of the shoe is red as well.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose my boxing shoe size?
A boxing shoe should fit closer than a street shoe: no play at the heel, toes just short of the end. Measure your foot in the evening, when it is at its largest, and take your usual EU size unless you are between two — then size up.
Does a coloured sole leave marks on a ring?
Not this one: the rubber is coloured through and non-marking, which is the standard for indoor kit. Sliding steps leave no streak on a wooden floor or a light canvas.
How thick should a boxing shoe sole be?
Thin and flat. A boxing sole keeps you close to the floor so you feel the ground and pivot cleanly; a thick cushioned midsole raises the centre of gravity and costs stability.
What is the difference between low-top and high-top boxing shoes?
The collar height. A low-top sits at or just above the ankle bone and leaves the foot free for pivots and footwork. A high-top wraps several centimetres up the calf and braces the ankle, which suits boxers who plant their feet to punch.
Are boxing shoes suitable for MMA, kickboxing or savate?
For kickboxing and savate, yes — the flat sole and the low collar suit both. MMA is fought barefoot, so shoes are for training only.
Does this model have a strap?
No, laces only. If you want a strap over the instep as well, the red and black model with a hook-and-loop strap covers that.
