The essentials: Gennady Golovkin in a guard, waistband marked GGG, in front of snow-covered mountains, his eyes burning electric blue: the treatment pulls him towards a mythological figure, somewhere between a storm god and an android. 5 panel polyptych, 4 size grids, from 50 to 200 cm / 20 to 79 in of total width. From €29 to €149 depending on size and framing.
Twenty-three stoppages in a row
Gennady Golovkin put together twenty-three consecutive wins inside the distance between 2008 and 2017, the longest such run at middleweight since Marvin Hagler. He held the world title for close to ten years.
As an amateur he took silver at the 2004 Athens Games and was world champion in 2003. The nickname comes from his repeated initials: GGG.
What you see
Golovkin is framed to mid thigh on the centre panel, in a guard, both blue gloves with red cuffs raised, each stamped with a round logo. He wears white trunks with a wide blue waistband, across which GGG runs in very large blue letters outlined in red and white.
His eyes are worked as two points of electric blue at the exact centre of the main panel — the element that structures the whole image and the first detail you see on entering a room. The setting is a snow-covered mountain landscape under a heavy sky, with a red break behind his head. From 3 m / 10 ft you see two blue points on grey and white; from 1 m / 3 ft the lettering on the waistband reads.

How to hang a 5 panel canvas
The five panels go side by side: the image is continuous and reassembles in one piece. Put up the centrepanel first, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs eitherside, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
The width rule is the same as for a single canvas: the set covers about two thirds of the width ofthe furniture below it. The size chart by wall type gives the full size-to-placement table.

Frequently asked questions
What size 5 piece canvas should I choose?
The five panels are hung side by side, so what counts is the total width — 50, 100, 150 or 200 cm / 20, 39, 59 or 79 in depending on the grid — not the size of a single panel. Allow the 20 × 35 grid above a chest of drawers, the 30 × 40 grid above a three-seater sofa, and the 40 × 60 grid on a clear wall over three metres / 10 ft.
How do I hang a canvas in 5 parts?
Start with the centre panel, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs either side, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Two options in the selector. Without frame: the panels ship rolled in a protective tube with a white border, to be mounted on stretchers. With frame: they arrive already mounted on wooden stretchers, ready to hang. The five stretcher kit covers the panels sold on their own.
What does GGG mean on Gennady Golovkin's waistband?
His initials repeated — Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin. It became his ring name during the run of twenty-three consecutive stoppages he put together between 2008 and 2017.
Are the 5 panels sold together?
Yes. The price covers the five panels, and the grid chosen applies to the set: the panels are not sold separately and ship together.
How do I clean a canvas print?
A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
