A free-standing post
Unlike a wall bracket, this model does not depend on a wall: it rests on a vertical post with an upper arm, and bolts firmly to the floor through its base plate. That is the answer for non load-bearing walls (plasterboard, light partitions), for large rooms, or simply to put the bag where you want it, well away from any wall.
