A reinforced steel structure
The frame is reinforced steel with a black finish, backed by a triangular gusset brace between the arm and the wall plate. That triangulation is what absorbs the repeated snatch loads of a heavy bag and keeps the arm from flexing. The plate, drilled at several fixing points, spreads the load across the wall.

Nothing else to buy: the bracket ships with 6 concrete anchors and a carabiner to hang your bag straight away. The multi-hole plate sits flat against the wall; mark, drill, plug and tighten.
