It is the only one of the twelve Canelo models whose palette comes neither from the Mexican flag nor from trophy metal, but from one specific object — and one recognisable anywhere.
The WBC gives the tee its palette
The lettering does not use the colours of the Mexican flag, unlike almost every other Canelo model. It uses the colours of the belt, and carries them across the whole composition.
That is what makes this tee instantly identifiable within the family: it is the only Canelo product using this palette, and the only one whose diagonal lettering breaks the horizontal.
What the WBC is
The World Boxing Council is one of the four major sanctioning bodies in professional boxing, alongside the WBA, the IBF and the WBO. Holding all four at once in a division is what makes a fighter undisputed.
Its belt is set apart by the medallions carrying the flags of member countries that run all the way round the strap — a detail visible on the artwork, and one few people can name.

CANELO opens at the top left, ALVAREZ closes at the bottom right: the two lines are set on a rising diagonal, in large turquoise capitals with a gold keyline. That diagonal is what gives the composition movement where the other models stack horizontal lines — from a distance it is the first thing the eye catches.
The turquoise carries strongly on black. It is the most colourful of the three Canelo collages, and the one that reads furthest away.
