Two fabrics, two jobs
On this set the jacket and the shorts are not cut from the same cloth, and that is not a manufacturing accident. They are two garments with different work to do.
The jacket stays on the shoulders through the warm-up and the walk to the ring. It is in matt knit: the surface grips slightly, which stops it sliding when the arms move, and the fabric holds heat rather than shedding it. That is what you ask of a garment that has to stay put without you thinking about it.
The shorts stay in action through the whole bout. They are in satin: a smooth surface an opponent's glove slides off, a fabric that does not hold sweat and hangs straight without clinging to the thighs. Matt knit shorts would catch on every step.
It is the same logic that makes a boxing robe satin and never towelling.
The three options
The selector does not offer colours but pieces:
- Jacket and shorts: both pieces together.
- Shorts only: the striped satin shorts with the embroidered waistband.
- Jacket only: the red sleeveless hooded jacket.
The pieces in detail
The jacket: plain red, matt knit with no sheen, sleeveless, wide armholes with a clean edge. Hood set on the neckline, full-length zip with an exposed metal pull. No marking, no contrasting trim: the jacket is entirely plain.
The shorts: satin, alternating red and white vertical stripes, navy waistband carrying CREED embroidered in gold thread, blue leg hem with white stars. Boxing cut, length above the knee.

Your size
Three sizes only, S, M and L, with no measurement chart published by the maker. For the jacket it is the length of the torso that decides, since the armholes are wide; for the shorts, take your usual size.
Good to know: the plain red jacket is worn just as well on its own for training as with the shorts. For a glossy jacket with piping, the Creed 2 version is in white satin with a star-lined hood.

What is in the box?
It depends on the option chosen in the selector: the jacket and the shorts together, the shorts only, or the jacket only. The selector labels say so each time.
Why is the jacket matt and the shorts satin?
Because they do different jobs. The matt knit jacket grips slightly and holds heat, so it stays on the shoulders through the warm-up. Satin shorts are smooth, do not hold sweat and hang straight: matt knit would catch on every step.
What is embroidered on the shorts?
CREED, in gold thread, on the navy waistband. Embroidery is stitched into the fabric rather than printed on it, so it does not crack or peel in the wash.
What size should I take?
