On 14 February 1973 in Las Vegas, Muhammad Ali walked out to face Joe Bugner in a robe given to him by Elvis Presley, studded with rhinestones and lettered PEOPLE'S CHOICE. The robe is the one part of the kit the crowd reads before the opening bell: this one carries your name.
What you can customise on a boxing robe
- The back: your name in large capitals, your team name above it, and up to two sponsor logos below.
- The front: the club logo and sponsor logos on either side of the collar, at chest height.
- The colours: the body of the robe, the lapels, the cuffs and the belt, each in the shade you choose.
- The size: the robe is cut to measure, from the measurements you send us with the mock-up.
Sublimation printing: a print that does not peel
Sublimation turns the ink into a gas with heat: the colour goes into the fibre instead of sitting on the surface. The print has no thickness and no relief, so it does not crack, peel or flake in the wash.
There is no limit on the number of colours: a gradient logo, a photo or a detailed crest prints as easily as a flat colour.

Tip: send your logos as vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf) or as high-resolution PNGs on a transparent background. A name on the back reads from a distance when it fits on one line: keep the nickname or ring name exactly as the announcer will call it.

Frequently asked questions
Why do boxers wear robes?
To keep the muscles warm between the warm-up in the dressing room and the opening bell: the ring walk, the introductions and the referee's instructions often take ten minutes or more. It also carries the boxer's name and sponsors during the walk-out, the most filmed and photographed moment of the fight.
Can I add my sponsors' logos?
Yes. The mock-up has several placements, at chest height on the front and on the back under your name. Send us the logos, we place them and you approve the result before production.
What is sublimation printing?
A process in which heated ink turns into a gas and goes into the fibre of the fabric. The print becomes part of the robe: no thickness, no relief and no layer that can crack or flake in the wash.
How do I choose the size of a boxing robe?
This robe is made to measure: you send us your measurements once the mock-up is approved, and we adjust the length and width to your build.
How long does a custom boxing robe take?
Allow 2 weeks of production after mock-up approval, then 2 weeks of delivery, about 4 weeks in total. For a fight night on a fixed date, tell us the date when you ask for the mock-up.
How do you wash a satin robe?
At 30 °C / 86 °F, inside out, on a delicate cycle, no tumble dryer. Iron on low heat on the reverse side. The sublimated print keeps its colours wash after wash.
