The two photographs show the same scene and invert everything else. In the first, black fills three quarters of the back and only the gloves catch the light; in the second, white floods the frame and the gloves stand out in grey. Same image, opposite moods.

What the case covers
Flexible TPU wraps the back and all four sides, with the camera cut-out of the model chosen and free access to ports and buttons. It goes on in a second and comes off with no tools. Technical specifications
Good to know: the black ground mainly shows fingerprints, which a microfibre cloth lifts straight off; the white ground keeps its crispness with an occasional wipe from a soft cloth barely dampened. In both cases the print sits on the surface, so keep alcohol, acetone and solvents away from it.

Which of the two should I pick?
Red on black reads from a distance: the dark ground pulls the eye to the gloves. Grey on white gives a fine-art print feel, dressier, and stands out sharply on an already dark phone. Subject and compatibility are identical.
Is there a logo or a champion on it?
No face, no brand, no lettering: just the pair of gloves. It is the most universal motif in boxing, the one that reads without knowing a name.
What is the case made of?
TPU, a flexible thermoplastic polyurethane sitting between hard plastic and silicone: it deforms on impact then returns to shape, which is how it absorbs knocks. The detail is set out on our boxing photo iPhone case page.
Does the case protect the screen?
It is a back case: it covers the back and all four sides. For the screen, the companion piece is tempered glass — the two do different jobs and fit together.
