The essentials: heavy bag chain set in 304 stainless steel, around 44 cm / 17 in overall. 4 strands of 26 cm / 10 in, one carabiner per strand, and a 360° swivel already built into the top section. Fits bags with rings or hanging straps. €24. Free shipping.
The chain is the link between your bag and the ceiling, in the literal sense. It is also the part that decides whether the hanging stays silent and how long it lasts.
The 360° swivel is included
This is what sets the set apart: the swivel is already in the top section, so the bag turns freely instead of winding up on itself. Without one, the straps twist, the bag hangs crooked and the wear concentrates on one side.
Four strands, four carabiners
Four 26 cm / 10 in strands, each with its own 5.8 cm / 2.3 in carabiner, so the load spreads evenly across the four hanging points of the bag. Moving a carabiner to a different link is also how you fine-tune the height.
Why 304 stainless
304 is the grade that shrugs off humidity — a garage, a cellar or an outbuilding will not mark it. It keeps its finish and its strength where a plain steel chain would need watching.

Frequently asked questions
Will these chains fit my bag?
They fit bags with hanging rings or straps — the four carabiners clip straight on. Check that your bag has four attachment points.
Is a swivel really useful on a punching bag chain?
Yes. Without one the bag winds up on its hanging as it turns, then unwinds against the twist, which wears the straps and leaves the bag hanging crooked.
What is the overall height of a punching bag chain set?
Around 44 cm / 17 in: a 17.7 cm / 7 in top section with the swivel, plus 26 cm / 10 in strands.
Why 304 stainless steel on a punching bag chain?
It resists humidity, so a garage or a cellar will not mark it. It keeps its finish and its strength over years.
What ceiling fixing should you use for a punching bag?
A hook, a mounting plate, a wall bracket or a stand — rated for several times the static weight of the bag, since striking multiplies the load.
Do chains make noise?
Chains produce a metallic sound at each impact. For a silent set-up, the bags hung on leather straps are the ones to look at.
