Two cuts, not a size down
Most combat sports sets are sold in a unisex cut, which amounts to offering a men's cut and telling women to drop a size. The result rarely sits well at the shoulders and the waist.
This set comes in two distinct cuts, each with its own colourways: five shades in the women's — grey, red, pink, khaki, black — and four in the men's — white, navy, grey, black.
The choice is made in the selector: the label gives the cut before the colour.
What is printed on the set
Sweatshirt: the lion emblem above LONSDALE in serif capitals and LONDON on a band, printed large across the chest.
Joggers: the same lettering repeated vertically down the leg. Single-colour marking, set against the ground.
Cut, fabric and finish
Hooded sweatshirt with drawcord and kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Joggers with elasticated waist and drawcord, side pockets, cuffed ankle.
The fabric is polyester at around 400 g/m² / 11.8 oz per sq yd, printed by heat transfer on PET film.
Why the ankle is cuffed
Straight trousers that fall over the shoe get in the way of lateral movement and catch on ring ropes or on the base of a free-standing bag. That is why tracksuit bottoms in combat sports are almost all cuffed at the ankle.
The cuff clears the foot completely and leaves the stance visible — which matters when a coach is correcting a plant or a pivot.

How do you look after it?
Machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F, inside out, no tumble dryer, and no iron directly on the print. Washing inside out is what protects the marking: it is the friction against the drum that dulls a print, more than the water.
