What the elastane changes
This stand collar set contains elastane. In practice, the knit returns to shape after stretching: the jacket does not deform at the elbows, and the joggers do not bag at the knees after a few sessions.
That is what separates a training tracksuit from a rest-day one. A set without elastane sits perfectly well in a changing room; it slackens as soon as it is used for core work, lunges or ground work.
The stand collar answers the same use: it protects the neck during the warm-up without the bulk of a hood, which counts when you keep the jacket on through skipping.

Why the ankle is cuffed
Straight trousers that fall over the shoe get in the way of lateral movement and catch on ring ropes or on the base of a free-standing bag. That is why tracksuit bottoms in combat sports are almost all cuffed at the ankle.
The cuff clears the foot completely and leaves the stance visible — which matters when a coach is correcting a plant or a pivot.

How do you look after it?
Machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F, inside out, no tumble dryer, and no iron directly on the print. Washing inside out is what protects the marking: it is the friction against the drum that dulls a print, more than the water.
