Team Canelo t-shirt

The essentials: Eddy Reynoso has trained Canelo since he was a teenager and has never left — a rare continuity in a sport where champions change corners after the first defeat. This tee carries the team rather than the man: a crown, TEAM Canelo, and a pair of hanging gloves. Premium cotton 180 gsm, crew neck, heat transfer print. 7 colourways, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
On the other eleven Canelo tees you wear a man: his face, his initials, his flag, his record.
On this one you wear a team — and the tool rather than the man.
Team Canelo is not a figure of speech
Behind the word there is a gym and a family. Saúl Álvarez was taken on as a teenager by José « Chepo » Reynoso and his son Eddy Reynoso, in Guadalajara. Eddy, barely older than him, became his head trainer and has stayed there for the whole career — a rare continuity in a sport where champions change corners after the first defeat.
An entire ecosystem grew around them: a gym that has produced several world champions, and corner work the trade has recognised — Eddy Reynoso was named trainer of the year in 2019 by the Boxing Writers Association of America.
Wearing Team rather than the name alone acknowledges that: no champion walks to the ring on his own.
The only one showing the tool rather than the man
The other Canelo tees work through the face, the initials, the flag or the record. This one puts a pair of gloves on the chest — the tool of the trade, not the man who uses it.
The word TEAM completes the shift: this is no longer a fighter's fan tee, it is a statement of which camp you are in. The distinction sounds thin until you wear it into a gym.
What it looks like on
The composition is vertical and open, centred on the upper chest. A small three-point crown opens it. Below, TEAM in upright capitals. Then Canelo in broad, slanted handwriting, across the full width — it is the largest element in the artwork, with the C and the l reaching well above the line.
Under the name, a pair of gloves hanging by the laces, one in front of the other, the left glove carrying the CA monogram. The laces run up as fine threads to the bottom of the lettering and tie the two blocks together.
The whole print is one colour, with no gradient: everything is carried by the line and by the bare fabric left open inside the gloves.
It fills the height of the chest without saturating it, where the collage models cover the whole surface. It is the easiest Canelo to wear in a gym: one tone, no face, and a motif that stays readable on a garment in movement.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
The detail that matters: the print is single-ink, one colour — and that is exactly what makes the seven colourways possible. A one-colour design transfers onto any ground without losing anything, where a multicoloured motif sinks into the fabric as soon as the shade changes. Seven colourways × seven sizes: 49 combinations, set against the thirteen shades of the Can't Be Stopped.

Frequently asked questions
Who trains Canelo Alvarez?
Eddy Reynoso, son of José « Chepo » Reynoso, who took him on as a teenager in Guadalajara. Eddy has been his head trainer since he turned professional — a rare continuity in a sport where champions often change corners. He was named trainer of the year in 2019 by the Boxing Writers Association of America.
Why seven colourways on this model?
Because the print is single-ink. A one-colour design transfers onto any ground without losing legibility, unlike a multicoloured motif. That is what allows black, grey, dark grey, red, white, navy and military green — 49 combinations with the seven sizes.
How does it differ from the King Canelo tee?
Both carry a crown, but not the same message. This one stays single-ink and faceless: crown, name and gloves. The King Canelo pairs the crown with the portrait and the belts: that is the status angle, and far more emphatic.
How does it differ from the women's Team Canelo Mexico tee?
The cut and the artwork. This one is a straight cut with a crew neck, in seven colourways, with the gloves and the crown. The women's model has a fitted cut and a V-neck, comes in red only, and carries the word MEXICO.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Seven sizes, S to 4XL, across all seven colourways.
