120 cm and 55 cm wide at the top — the central curve creates a transition zone that stands in for an opponent's low guard and forces you to vary your angles.
The central curve
Halfway up, the bag narrows progressively before widening again at the shoulders. That waist is a transition zone between the head section and the body section: you cannot hit it square, so the punch has to arrive at an angle — which is what a live target demands.
Two colours
Black and yellow, black and red. The central panel is black on both, the sides take the colour.

What do you fill a punching bag with?
Cut textile and rags packed down tight for the body of the bag, with a little sand or granulate in sealed bags at the base if you want more weight. Never loose sand: it settles and hardens.
Do you need gloves to hit a punching bag?
Always: wraps and gloves. 12 to 14 oz suits this format.
