Boxing glove chain bracelet

In short: a curb bracelet ordered to your own size, with a glove built into the chain as a link rather than hung from it as a charm. 316L stainless steel, solid 15 mm / 0.59 in links, about 94 g / 3.32 oz, box clasp with two safety tabs. Three finishes — silver, gold, black steel — and six lengths from 18 to 23 cm / 7.1 to 9.1 in. €39, free standard shipping.
The clasp is not a lobster hook but a box clasp hidden inside the links, backed by two side tabs you press together to open it. That is the system used on heavy curb bracelets: it takes two fingers, and it does not spring open inside a sleeve.
The glove is a link, not a charm
The glove is cast with its laces and its cuff and takes the place of a link at the centre of the chain. It does not hang, does not swivel and cannot come off. From a metre / three feet away you see a men's curb bracelet; the glove reads as you get closer.
The links, 15 mm and 94 g
Solid curb links, 15 mm / 0.59 in wide, mirror polished on the silver finish. The 94 g / 3.32 oz register with every movement: the bracelet settles on the wrist and stays there rather than riding up the forearm.
Three finishes
- Silver: the steel itself, mirror polished. The colour cannot wear off because it is the material.
- Gold: a polished gold surface treatment. On a 15 mm / 0.59 in link it reads from several metres away.
- Black steel: a black surface treatment. It absorbs light and makes the volume of the links quieter for daily wear.

Choosing your length
Run a tailor's tape around your wrist, just below the bone, without pulling. Take the figure, then add 1.5 to 2 cm / 0.6 to 0.8 in of ease: an 18 cm / 7.1 in wrist takes a 20 cm / 7.9 in bracelet. Between two lengths, take the larger.
| Wrist | Length to order | How it sits |
|---|---|---|
| 16 to 16.5 cm / 6.3 to 6.5 in | 18 cm / 7.1 in | Close fit, the links follow the wrist |
| 17 cm / 6.7 in | 19 cm / 7.5 in | Close fit |
| 18 cm / 7.1 in | 20 cm / 7.9 in | Standard comfort |
| 19 cm / 7.5 in | 21 cm / 8.3 in | Standard comfort |
| 20 cm / 7.9 in | 22 cm / 8.7 in | Loose fit, the chain slides |
| 21 cm / 8.3 in | 23 cm / 9.1 in | Loose fit |
Good to know: the length you order is the final length — the box clasp carries no extender chain, hence the measurement above. Dry soft cloth after wear; rinse in clean water and dry carefully after the sea or the pool. On the gold and black steel finishes the colour is a surface treatment: clean with a cloth, never with polishing paste.

Frequently asked questions
What length bracelet should I order?
Measure your wrist with a tape just below the bone, then add 1.5 to 2 cm / 0.6 to 0.8 in of ease: an 18 cm / 7.1 in wrist takes a 20 cm / 7.9 in bracelet. Six lengths run from 18 to 23 cm / 7.1 to 9.1 in, and the conversion table is further up this page. Between two sizes, take the larger.
Is the boxing glove a charm that dangles?
No, it is a link in its own right, set at the centre of the chain and cast with its laces. It stays in line with the rest of the chain, does not swivel and cannot come off.
How does the clasp work?
A box clasp built into the links, with two side safety tabs pressed together to open it. This is what heavy curb bracelets use, because it holds the load and will not release from a knock against a sleeve.
What is 316L steel?
A low carbon grade of stainless steel used for surgical instruments and body jewellery. It does not rust, takes sweat and salt water, and releases very little nickel, which suits a bracelet worn around the clock.
Can I keep it on in the shower and the sea?
Yes, stainless steel takes water and sweat; rinse in clean water and dry after the sea or the pool. Take it off to train, as you would a watch: under a wrap and a glove there is no room for a 15 mm / 0.59 in chain.
How do I care for the gold and black steel finishes?
Dry soft cloth after wear, never polishing paste: both colours are surface treatments over the steel, and an abrasive cuts into them. The silver finish is the steel itself and comes back with a microfibre cloth.
