The links of the band are genuinely pierced: light passes between them, and the ring keeps a visual lightness a solid band of the same width does not have. It is also what makes it read alongside a curb bracelet on the wrist — the same link, in miniature.
The glove, set like a seal
At the top of the band, a single glove is sculpted in profile, rounded fist and banded cuff. On either side, the shoulders are chased with a zigzag lacing pattern that carries the glove into the chain. No lettering anywhere on the piece.
Two finishes
Gold is a surface treatment over the steel: it picks out the outline of the pierced links and reads at handshake distance. Silver is the steel itself, polished: the colour cannot wear off because it is the material.

How do I find my ring size?

Is the band really pierced?
Yes, every link of the curb chain is cut clean through: light passes across the band and you can see the finger between the links. It is not a chain pattern engraved onto a solid ring.
What is 316L steel?
A low carbon grade of stainless steel, the one used for surgical instruments and body jewellery. It does not rust, takes sweat and salt water, and releases very little nickel, which suits a ring worn around the clock.
Gold or silver?
The design, the open-work band and the glove are identical. Gold is a surface treatment that underlines the outline of the links and carries further; silver is the polished steel itself, whose colour cannot wear off. If you already wear a watch or a bracelet, stay in the same metal family.
Can I wear it at work and at the gym?
At work with no difficulty: the open-work band stays slim on the finger and steel takes water and sweat. Take it off to train and for heavy manual work, as with any rigid ring.
