The purists' choice. Cleto Reyes has equipped the sport's biggest champions for decades, and this Mexican Flag version carries the colours of Mexico across bright white leather — a glove that performs as well as it looks.
A design in the colours of Mexico
The white leather is set off with a green and red flag motif, the oval Cleto Reyes logo and red piping. The Hecho en México marking is a reminder of the handmade Mexican production.
A premium build
The shell is full-grain leather, hot-waxed for durability. Inside, bonded nylon is combined with horsehair padding: the hand does not slip and moisture is better managed. The triple-density foam, with an extra comfort layer at the fingertips, gives the cushioning the brand is known for.
Comfort and hold
The anatomical shape follows the hand closely. A grip bar makes the hand easier to slide in, and the Cleto Reyes hook-and-loop strap allows precise tightening and a firm wrist hold. For sanctioned competition, it is the lace-up models that are approved (see below).

Frequently asked questions
What makes Cleto Reyes gloves different?
They are world-class professional fight gloves made in Mexico: full-grain leather, horsehair padding, triple-density foam and an anatomical shape. A reference among professionals.
Are these boxing gloves velcro or lace-up?
The Mexican Flag version uses a hook-and-loop strap: ideal for training and sparring, on in a few seconds without help. For sanctioned competition, lace-up gloves are the approved format — the Mexican Style lace-up version is in the collection.
What size boxing gloves do I need?
16 oz for sparring, 12 to 14 oz for all-purpose training, 10 oz for the bag and 8 oz for speed work and lighter body weights. See our size guide if you are unsure.
What is horsehair padding and why does it matter?
Horsehair is the traditional filling of Mexican fight gloves: it compacts less than foam alone and manages moisture better, which is why professionals have kept it. It gives a firmer, more direct feel than an all-foam glove.
