PU leather: material and comfort

Frequently asked questions
What are SPORT gloves made of?
PU leather, a synthetic. Supple, hard-wearing and easy to wipe down.
What size SPORT gloves should I choose?
12 oz for general training and light sparring, 10 oz for the bag, 8 oz for speed work.
Can you compete in velcro boxing gloves?
No. Sanctioned bouts are fought in lace-up gloves; a hook-and-loop strap belongs in training, on the bag and on the pads.
What is the difference between PU leather and genuine leather?
PU is a synthetic: lighter, cheaper and it needs no feeding balm. Genuine leather costs more, patinates and moulds to the fist over the seasons.
