The essentials: on 6 November 2021 he gathered all four major belts and became the first undisputed super-middleweight champion in history. Not the best of a given year: the first, full stop. On this tee he carries them all, crowned, in selective desaturation. Premium cotton 180 gsm, crew neck, heat transfer print. Black, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
The nickname is not fan flattery.
It is arithmetic: four major belts gathered in one division, which very few fighters have managed. The crown on the artwork simply translates a results table.
6 November 2021, Las Vegas
That night Canelo Alvarez faced Caleb Plant, the last holder of the belt he was missing. He stopped him in the eleventh.
What that result produced had never happened before: all four major bodies — WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO — held at super middleweight by one man. Since the fourth sanctioning body appeared in the late 1980s, the feat has become close to impossible: each organisation imposes its own mandatories, calendars and interests, and belts scatter faster than they gather.
Canelo became the first undisputed champion in the history of his division. Not the best of a given year: the first, full stop.
King, unified, undisputed
Being champion means holding a belt. Holding them all — WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO — in one division is undisputed status. That is where the crown on the artwork comes from.
If the status speaks to you more than the man, the Undisputed tee carries the word on its own, with no portrait.
What it looks like on
The artwork covers almost the whole chest. Canelo is shown from the waist up, standing, a gold crown on his head, arms loaded with world championship belts hanging in front of him — the green and red WBC among them, instantly recognisable.
The subject is cut out, with no background: the silhouette sits straight on the black of the fabric. The fighter is treated in black and white; only the crown and the belts keep their original colours.
From a distance you read a dark silhouette with flashes of colour at waist height. Up close the plates and stones of each belt appear — it is the most worked area of the artwork.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
Why selective desaturation
The device is simple and effective: the eye has nowhere else to go. Artwork in full colour would have split attention between the face, the skin, the clothing and the background.
Here the hierarchy is imposed: the title is the subject, the man is the one carrying it. It is the only one of the twelve Canelo tees to build its artwork on a hierarchy rather than on an emblem or a phrase.
The detail that matters: this is the most emphatic of the twelve Canelo tees — a man standing, crowned, belts on his arms, over the full height of the chest. It is a t-shirt that takes a position. For the same subject more quietly, the gold crest carries the record in a single mark, and the Team Canelo keeps the crown without the face.

Frequently asked questions
When did Canelo Alvarez become undisputed champion?
On 6 November 2021 in Las Vegas, stopping Caleb Plant in the eleventh round. That night he gathered all four major belts at super middleweight and became the first undisputed champion in the history of the division.
Why is he called King Canelo?
Because he gathered the four major belts — WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO — in the same division: undisputed status. The crown on the artwork is not an ornament, it is the graphic translation of that record.
Why is unifying all four belts so rare?
Since the fourth sanctioning body appeared in the late 1980s, each organisation has imposed its own mandatory challengers, calendars and interests. A champion who declines a mandatory is stripped, so belts scatter faster than they gather. Holding all four means accepting every imposed fight and losing none of them.
How does it differ from the Canelo WBC tee?
How wide the claim is. This one shows all the belts at once under a crown: undisputed status. The WBC model concentrates on one specific title, the green belt.
Why does this model only come in black?
Because the dark ground is part of the drawing: the subject is cut out, so the fabric is what surrounds it. It is also what brings out the gold crown and the belts, the only elements left in colour.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Seven sizes, S to 4XL, with the chest running from about 96 cm / 38 in to 132 cm / 52 in.
