The essentials: the logo born from the oldest championship belt in Britain, here in a single-colour version: without the red, the emblem becomes a purely graphic mark. 8 shades, each available with a white logo or a black logo — 16 combinations. Premium cotton 180 gsm, heat transfer print. 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
Same lion, same lettering, same arc — but one colour.
It is the stripped-back version of the Lonsdale logo: without the red, the emblem becomes a purely graphic mark. Quieter, smarter, and it goes with anything.
The same logo, two readings
The drawing is identical to the original: the lion in profile as a solid silhouette, LONSDALE in slanted capitals set on an arc, LONDON centred beneath.
The difference is the colour. Here the arc is no longer red: it takes the same tone as the rest. The logo goes from two colours to one, and the register changes completely — you leave the club jersey behind for something plainer, almost typographic.
That is what explains the offer: each shade comes with a white logo or a black logo. On a red tee, the white logo snaps and the black logo sinks in — two very different results from the same drawing.
Lonsdale, the name on the belts
Before it was a brand, Lonsdale was the name of a belt. The Lonsdale Belts, created in the early twentieth century for British champions, carry the name of Lord Lonsdale. Their distinctive rule: a fighter had to defend the title three times to keep the belt for good.
The clothing brand was founded in London in 1960. It outfitted the gyms, then left the sport behind: through the 1970s and 1980s the lion became a marker of the English street. Authentically boxing, durably streetwear.
What it looks like on
The artwork is centred on the chest, at a medium size: large enough to read at distance, contained enough not to turn the tee into an advertising board.
In white on a dark ground, the effect is sharp and contrasted: it is the version that shows. In black on a light ground, the result is more classic, closer to town clothing.
On a bright shade — red, yellow, green — the black logo gives a quiet tone-on-tone effect, while the white logo cuts clean. The level of visibility is yours to choose.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
Eight shades, two versions each
| Shade | White logo | Black logo |
|---|---|---|
| Black | Maximum contrast, the most visible version | — |
| White | — | The classic, perfectly legible |
| Heather grey | Soft and bright | Plain, very wearable day to day |
| Light grey | Washed effect, discreet | Sharp and graphic |
| Red, yellow, green, royal blue, purple | The logo cuts clean, sporting look | Tone on tone, smarter |
To choose: white logo if you want the lion seen, black logo if you would rather it were noticed. On the light shades, the black logo is the safe choice.
The detail that matters: the print is applied by heat transfer onto a PET film. In a single colour, everything rests on the sharpness of the silhouette: with no second colour to carry the eye, the outline of the lion and the slant of the capitals have to be cut perfectly. The print stands up to wear and does not fade easily in the wash. Care: machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, no fabric softener, no tumble dryer, do not iron the print.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the white logo and the black logo?
The same drawing, printed in one colour or the other. White if you want the lion seen; black if you would rather it were noticed. On a bright shade, the black logo goes tone on tone and the white one cuts clean.
How does it differ from the two-colour Lonsdale tee?
The arc. On the original model it is red; here it takes the same tone as the rest, so the logo reads as a single graphic mark rather than a club emblem.
How many combinations are there?
Eight shades, most of them available with either logo — 16 combinations in all, at the same price. Black comes with the white logo, white with the black logo.
Does it come in big sizes?
Yes, up to 4XL: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL and 4XL, across every combination at the same price. Most boxing tees on the market stop at XXL.
How is the artwork applied?
By heat transfer onto a PET film, a different process from direct digital printing. In a single colour everything rests on the sharpness of the silhouette, and the print stands up to wear without fading easily in the wash.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 132 cm / 52 in on a 4XL.
