How the artwork works
The posture is a dancer's: hat tilted over the eyes, jacket open on a white shirt, torso leaning, knees bent in an arrested movement.
The hands, though, wear red boxing gloves — laces pulled tight, training weight.
That is the whole mechanism: the same silhouette reads either as choreography or as a guard. Dance movement and boxing movement resemble each other more than people expect — footing, weight transfer, coordination.
The lettering layers two levels: MMA in gold, and the name in white capitals over it.
The detail that matters — the gloves on the artwork are boxing gloves, padded and closed-fist, not open-fingered MMA gloves. That fits the register of the tee, which plays on the image rather than on the technique.
The white glove, a real reference
The single sequinned glove appeared publicly in 1983, on the Motown 25 broadcast, the night the moonwalk was shown on American television for the first time. Worn on one hand, it became the most identifiable accessory in twentieth-century pop. The substitution on this tee is one move: the stage glove replaced by a boxing glove, and the dance pose suddenly reading as a guard.

The front is plain. All the print is on the back, centred between the shoulder blades.
The artwork is treated as a dark photograph: the white suit and the flashes of fabric come forward, the rest sinks into the black of the tee. Pale swirls surround the figure, like smoke or thrown powder.
The red gloves are the only area of bright colour. The hat carries a touch of blue and red.
