The words are Tyson's own, spoken to camera around the time he became world champion:
« My style is impetuous, my defence is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. »
Three claims, three registers. Impetuous describes how he closed distance without hedging. Impregnable points to the peek-a-boo guard Cus D'Amato taught him. Ferocious closes the sentence and explains nothing.
The vocabulary was not improvised: D'Amato drilled his fighters on how they spoke as much as on how they moved.

Tyson delivered the line around the time he became, on 22 November 1986 against Trevor Berbick, the youngest heavyweight world champion in history — 20 years and 4 months. This is not a veteran looking back on a career: it is a twenty-year-old describing his method while he is still using it.
