Not a fighter: the institution that awards the titles.
The WBC
The World Boxing Council was founded in 1963 in Mexico City, when representatives of several countries came together to unify the rules of professional boxing.
It is one of the four major federations, alongside the WBA, the IBF and the WBO. A boxer holding all four belts is undisputed.
Its belt is the most identifiable of all: green leather, gold plates, the flags of the nations. It is the one worn by Mike Tyson in 1986, Marvin Hagler, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.
The WBC is also behind several changes to the rules, including cutting world championship fights from fifteen rounds to twelve, adopted on safety grounds and followed afterwards by the other federations.
What it looks like on
The artwork is centred on the chest, in a two-tier composition.
At the top, a raised gloved fist in white, rising out of a curved band made of flags — the American, British and Japanese flags are among those you can pick out. The band unfurls like a ribbon.
Beneath, WBC in large dark capitals, framed by two horizontal rules, with Since 1963 small under the lower rule.
Because the print carries strong colours, it stands out equally well across all fourteen grounds, from sand to black.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.

Frequently asked questions
What is the WBC?
The World Boxing Council, founded in 1963 in Mexico City to unify the rules of professional boxing. It is one of the four major federations, alongside the WBA, the IBF and the WBO.
What does undisputed mean?
Holding all four major belts at once — WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO — in the same division. It is the rarest status in the sport.
Why is the WBC belt green?
Green leather, gold plates and the flags of the member nations make it the most identifiable belt of all four federations. It is the one worn by Mike Tyson in 1986, Marvin Hagler, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.
Why are world title fights twelve rounds?
Because the WBC cut them from fifteen to twelve on safety grounds. The other federations followed afterwards, and twelve is now the standard across professional boxing.
Which colourways are available?
Fourteen, from sand to black — one of the two. Because the print carries strong colours, it stands out equally well on all of them.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 132 cm / 52 in on a 4XL.
