Winged fist t-shirt

- Regular price€29,00

The essentials: a closed fist flanked by two wings, on a green sunburst — a listing treating boxing as an emblem, with a cracked glass effect laid over it. Yellow and green on black. Premium cotton 180 gsm, crew neck, heat transfer print. 2 colourways, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
No gloves, no boxer, no name: a bare fist, treated as a coat of arms.
The winged fist
The fist is shown head on, fingers folded, ungloved. It is the gesture reduced to its simplest form — the tool before the equipment.
The wings framing it belong to an old graphic tradition, where they stand for speed and elevation. You find them on military insignia, club crests and car badges.
Applied to a fist, they say what makes a good punch: speed of delivery before mass.
The three stars above and the sunburst behind complete the composition, pulling it towards an emblem rather than an illustration.
What it looks like on
The artwork is centred on the chest, in a wide horizontal composition.
At the centre, the fist in yellow, framed by two spread wings in the same shade. Above it, three stars.
Behind, a green sunburst fans out from the centre.
Beneath, BOXING in large yellow capitals, slightly condensed.
The whole is covered by a network of cracks, like broken glass — that is what gives the print its crazed look. The texture is part of the printed file.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.

Frequently asked questions
What do the wings stand for?
Speed and elevation, in an old graphic tradition you find on military insignia, club crests and car badges. Applied to a fist, they say what makes a good punch: speed of delivery before mass.
Why is the fist ungloved?
Because the artwork is an emblem, not an illustration of the sport: it shows the gesture reduced to its simplest form, the tool before the equipment. It is a listing treating boxing this way.
Is the cracked effect a fault?
No, it is part of the printed file: a network of cracks laid over the whole artwork, like broken glass. It arrives that way and will not get worse in the wash.
What is the green fan behind the fist?
A sunburst, spreading from the centre. With the three stars above, it is what pulls the composition towards a coat of arms.
Which colourways are available?
Two: black and white. On black the yellow and green carry at their strongest; on white the emblem reads as a printed crest. Seven sizes per colourway, S to 4XL.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 132 cm / 52 in on a 4XL.
