The essentials: a pair of gloves covered end to end in graffiti — pink, blue, yellow and red lettering over black leather — hanging against a spattered pale blue ground. 10 sizes from 20 × 30 cm / 8 × 12 in to 110 × 160 cm / 43 × 63 in. Frame sold separately. From €19 to €109 depending on size, free standard shipping.
Nine metres of tape under the glove
What this canvas does not show is regulated as tightly as the glove itself: the hand wraps. Professional federations set a maximum length — on the order of 9 m / 30 ft of tape per hand for the heavier classes, a little less below — and cap the amount of tape allowed over the wrist and between the fingers.
The wrapping is done in the presence of a representative of the opponent, then initialled by an inspector before the glove goes on. No hardening substance is permitted, and the rule comes from real cases where plaster had been hidden under the tape. The glove only receives a hand that has already been built underneath it.
What you see
Portrait format, very pale blue ground flecked with spatter. Two gloves hang at the centre, one in front of the other, cuffs up, the black leather almost entirely covered in pink, blue, yellow and red tags and lettering.
A small drawn spray can sits on the right glove, beside the words hello and punch — the only fully readable lettering — with paint running down from the cuffs. The cuffs are white, wrap-style, and cut against the rest. From 3 m / 10 ft you read two multicoloured gloves on a pale ground; from 1 m / 3 ft each tag separates.

Worth knowing: a pale ground with a busy subject makes a contrast that carries at distance, so this is the glove canvas that reads best in a corridor or a stairwell. No face, and the few readable words are in English — it hangs without imposing a sentence. Frames are sold separately: wooden frame up to 100 cm / 39 in per side, XXL wooden frame from 110 to 200 cm / 43 to 79 in, or aluminium frame in 8 finishes.
A busy subject on an empty ground
The two gloves form a dense mass at the centre of a near-plain ground: the contrast carries at five metres and the canvas holds from 20 × 30 cm / 8 × 12 in. It is the tags themselves that need surface — allow 60 × 90 cm / 24 × 35 in for each piece of lettering to separate. The size chart by wall type covers the other placements room by room.

Frequently asked questions
Are boxing hand wraps regulated?
Closely. Professional bodies set a maximum length — around 9 m / 30 ft per hand for the heavier classes — cap the tape over the wrist and between the fingers, and require the wrapping to be done in front of the opponent's representative and initialled by an inspector.
What size canvas should I hang above a sofa?
The working rule is about two thirds of the width of the furniture below it, centred 145 cm / 57 in from the floor. Over a 200 cm / 79 in three-seater, that means 80 × 120 cm / 31 × 47 in; over a two-seater, 60 × 90 cm / 24 × 35 in; in a hallway, 30 × 45 cm / 12 × 18 in. The full size chart by wall type is on the Ali vs Liston 1965 page.
Is there readable text on this canvas?
Only a few words, all in English and buried in the tags: hello and punch are the two fully readable ones, on the right glove. The rest of the lettering works as graphic texture, with no complete word and no identifiable brand.
Is this canvas suitable for a corridor?
It is the best of the glove canvases for one: a dense subject on a near-plain pale ground, with contrast that carries at five metres. 40 × 60 cm / 16 × 24 in is enough on a corridor wall.
Does the canvas come with a frame?
No, the canvas ships on its own, rolled in a protective tube. Frames are sold separately: wooden frame up to 100 cm / 39 in per side, XXL wooden frame from 110 to 200 cm / 43 to 79 in, or aluminium frame in 8 finishes. The wooden kits are 2.5 cm / 1 in thick and come with instructions.
How do I clean a canvas print?
A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
