The essentials: boxing shoes in royal blue and white, suede-look upper, three white stripes on the side, hook-and-loop strap and a gum rubber sole. Collar higher than the rest of the range. 12 sizes, EU 36.5 to 45 including half sizes (UK 4 to 10.5). €69, free shipping.
This is the highest collar in the range short of a boot: it sits well above the ankle bone, which puts it between a training shoe and a wrestling boot.
The highest collar in the range
A collar above the ankle bone holds the joint through lateral movement without the full bracing of a high-top boot. Combined with the strap over the instep, it gives a fit that stays put through long sessions — which is why the same cut is used in sambo and wrestling.
What it looks like
Matt suede-look upper with light blue embossed panels, three white stripes on the side, a strap across the instep. The sole is gum rubber, flat and very thin.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose my boxing shoe size?
A boxing shoe should fit closer than a street shoe: no play at the heel, toes just short of the end. Measure your foot in the evening, when it is at its largest, and take your usual EU size unless you are between two — then size up.
What is the difference between a mid-top and a low-top?
The collar. A mid-top laces above the ankle bone and holds the joint through lateral movement; a low-top stops at or below it and leaves the foot freer. Mid-top is the format most boxers train in, because it covers both.
What is a mid-top boxing shoe?
One whose collar closes above the ankle bone but stops short of the calf. It holds the joint through lateral movement while keeping the foot free to pivot — the format most boxers train in.
Why a gum rubber sole?
Gum is natural rubber without carbon black. Leaving that additive out is what makes it tacky on canvas, parquet and mat, and what keeps it from marking a light floor.
How do you clean boxing shoes?
A damp cloth on the upper and the sole after each session. Wash the laces separately by hand, air-dry with the insole taken out, and never on a radiator: direct heat stiffens the assembly glue.
Is this shoe suitable for sambo or wrestling?
Yes — the high collar and the strap give the ankle hold both ask for, and the thin gum sole grips on mat.
