Look at the toe of this shoe: a smooth, solid cap, with no visible seam and no edge. That detail has a rulebook reason. In savate, the French kickboxing code requires rounded sole edges and protected laces, because the foot strikes to the head and a sharp edge cuts. The same logic applies in kickboxing on low kicks: a hard, angular toe injures, while a smooth rounded one transmits without cutting.
The reinforced toe does a second job here, protecting the forefoot against friction on the canvas during sliding steps — the area that wears through first on any boxing shoe.
Two colourways
Black and gold — gloss gold blades radiating from the heel towards the forefoot, black mesh, black toe and collar, VIPER lettering on the side.

On both versions the brand logo is applied on the tongue and on the toe, and the collar closes with a black elastic band that circles the ankle above the lacing.
A sole with fine chevrons
The black rubber is drawn in tight, shallow chevrons across the whole surface, with no cut-outs and no cleats. The plate overhangs slightly at the forefoot, which widens the base when weight rolls onto the outer edge.
Technical specifications
Good to know: the elastic collar settles into place as you put the shoe on and is not adjustable. On a strong ankle, the strap model offers adjustable tightening at the instep.

Mid top or low top boxing shoes, what is the difference?
The height of the upper. A mid top clears the ankle bone by a few centimetres and holds the ankle laterally; a low top stops at the joint and leaves rotation completely free. The mid top remains the most common format in the gym.
What is the elastic collar for?
To close the top of the upper around the ankle without adding pressure on the instep. It keeps debris out — canvas dust, wraps coming loose — and holds the tongue in place during movement.
