Triangular base and 3 ballast posts supplied
The triangular base holds the whole thing steady, reinforced by diagonal ties running from the mast to the legs. Three vertical posts are supplied: they mount on the base to take cast-iron plates and add ballast for intense sessions or a heavy bag. The plates themselves are not included.

What bag weight does it take?
Up to 60 kg / 132 lb, which covers bags of 100 to 120 cm / 39 to 47 in filled. For a heavier bag, the 150 kg / 331 lb stand is the right one.
Does it really fold for storage?
Yes. The frame folds and stores along a wall between sessions, then redeploys in moments. That is what makes it usable in a living room, a shared garage or any multi-purpose room.
Do I have to drill the wall or the ceiling?
No. The stand is free standing: no fixing to the floor or the wall, which makes it the answer for tenants and for buildings where hanging a bag is not allowed.
How do you add ballast?
Three vertical posts are supplied and mount on the base to take standard cast-iron plates. The plates are not included. Ballast is what stops the frame swaying on heavy strikes.
