The essentials: UNDEFEATED — world champion at 21, then across several divisions, coming out of one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Baltimore. This tee carries the GTD monogram and his portrait. Premium cotton 180 gsm, heat transfer print. 9 colourways, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
One word is printed on this tee: UNDEFEATED.
In boxing that is a statistic. For the man whose face sits beside it, it is something else.
Sandtown-Winchester
Gervonta Davis was born in 1994 in Baltimore, in Sandtown-Winchester — one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the city, and the one that would make national news twenty years later.
His father was absent, his mother struggled with addiction. He and his siblings went through foster care and shelters. His grandmother took him in.
He walked into a boxing gym at five years old. Not out of vocation: because that was where he was sent so he would not be on the street.
The man who kept hold of him
The gym is the Upton Boxing Center. The trainer is Calvin Ford — off the streets himself, through prison, back to work with the kids from the neighbourhood. His life was the basis for a character in The Wire, filmed in Baltimore.
Ford never let go. He is still the trainer today, more than twenty years on. In a sport where teams change with every contract, that is an anomaly — and it probably explains the rest.
What undisputed and undefeated are not the same thing
Davis became world champion at 21, then a champion in several weight divisions. The word UNDEFEATED on the tee points to his professional record — no losses. It is not the same as undisputed, which means holding all four major belts in one division at the same time.
But worn by someone from where he is from, the word goes beyond the scorecard. That double meaning is the strength of this artwork: three initials, one word, and behind them a story the fans know by heart.
What it looks like on
Gervonta T. Davis. The three initials are interlocked into a single block, with the central T in red. At ten metres / thirty feet you do not see a face but a mark: that is how a sports logo works, recognisable before it is readable. The portrait only appears as you come closer.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
Nine colourways
| Family | Colourways | How it reads |
|---|---|---|
| Dark | Black, dark grey, navy, burgundy | The white of the monogram carries at its strongest |
| Light | Heather grey, beige | Softer result, easier every day |
| Colour | Blue, red, military green | The tee becomes the strong piece of the outfit |
The detail that matters: the central T of the monogram is red on every colourway. On the red and burgundy grounds it therefore blends into the fabric and the mark reads as a G and a D tone on tone — a quieter result, which some people prefer. To see all three letters stand apart, choose black, navy or dark grey.

Frequently asked questions
What does GTD stand for?
The initials of Gervonta T. Davis, interlocked into a single monogram. The central T is red, framed by two white letters.
What is the difference between undefeated and undisputed?
Undefeated means no losses on the professional record. Undisputed means holding all four major belts — WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO — in one division at the same time. The word printed here is undefeated.
Which colourway should I choose?
Black for maximum contrast, heather grey or beige for something quiet, red or military green if you want the tee to be the strong piece of the outfit. On the red grounds the red T of the monogram goes tone on tone — a more understated result.
How does it differ from the gold crest tee?
Both carry the GTD monogram, but this one adds the portrait and comes in nine colourways. The gold crest keeps the monogram alone, entirely in gold on black.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Seven sizes, S to 4XL, with the chest running from about 96 cm / 38 in to 132 cm / 52 in.
