Will the colours fade?
No. The green, the white and the red are three separate panels joined by stitching, not a printed surface. With France, it is one of the two gloves in the range that carry no printing at all.
Why are the bands diagonal rather than vertical?
Because a boxing glove is a domed shape. Strictly vertical bands would have hidden one colour at the sides. Set on the diagonal, all three panels stay visible whatever angle the glove hangs at.
