This MMA cage panel carries a 90 cm / 35 in access gate. It follows the padded build of our welded cages: reinforced tubular frame, protective foam sleeved in canvas around the whole edge, and 50 mm / 2 in mesh with a plastic-coated galvanised core.
Its tensioned mesh meets the federation standard of 500 N/mm², with controlled deflection — 10 cm / 4 in of rebound at most. The built-in 90 cm gate handles entry to and exit from the fighting area without breaking the line of the wall.
Available in five lengths from 150 to 250 cm / 59 to 98 in, 190 cm / 6 ft 3 in high, and in two linking versions (with or without side hinge lugs), it fits a new cage as readily as an existing one.
A 90 cm gate, in a competition wall
The 90 cm / 35 in access gate is built into the panel, without breaking the line of the mesh. The mesh, tensioned and meeting the federation standard of 500 N/mm², keeps its deflection to 10 cm / 4 in at most: strength and safety right at the entrance to the cage.

The built-in gate
The access gate, 90 cm / 35 in wide, is built directly into the panel. It lets fighters and officials in and out without creating a break in the mesh wall, and carries the same padded finish as the rest of the panel.
With or without hinge lugs: which version?
The panel comes in two linking versions, at the same price:
- With hinge lugs: 4 side lugs built into the panel, which the linking post slots into to join the neighbouring panels.
- Without hinge lugs: the link is made through openings built into the top and bottom of the posts.
In both cases the linking post between panels is sold separately. A reinforcing leg is available as an option.

With lugs, the linking post slots into 4 side lugs on the panel. Without, the link runs through openings at the top and bottom of the posts. Both are the same price; pick the one that matches the cage you already have.
Is the mesh the same as on a plain panel?
Yes: 50 mm / 2 in with a plastic-coated galvanised core, tensioned to the federation standard of 500 N/mm² with 10 cm / 4 in of rebound at most. Only the gate differs.
Can it replace a gate panel on an existing cage?
Yes, provided you take the version matching your linking system, with or without lugs, and a length that matches the panel being replaced.
