- Regular price€29,00

The essentials: the smartest garment in the family: a plain polo with a contrast black collar and matching cuffs, printed front and back. Small ROCKY logo on the chest, large lettering across the back, arms-raised figure in the O. Premium cotton 180 gsm, heat transfer print. 5 colourways, 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
A collar, two prints, nothing else. It is the Rocky model that travels furthest from the gym.
The contrast collar
The detail that structures this polo: the collar and the button placket are black on all five colourways, and the cuffs pick up the same black in rib.
It is a construction — separate pieces of fabric sewn together — not a print: the contrast cannot fade out in the wash.
The first film in the series came out in 1976, written by Sylvester Stallone when he was an unknown actor, and won Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
What it looks like on
The body — plain, in the colourway chosen, with no panelling and no background pattern.
The collar — black polo collar, black two-button placket, worn up or down.
Front — ROCKY in small textured capitals, on the chest, in the classic brand logo position.
Back — ROCKY in large capitals, across the full width of the shoulder blades, with the arms-raised figure set into the O. The lettering is distressed, in a worn screen print finish.
The sleeves — short, finished with a black ribbed cuff.
Premium cotton, straight cut.

Frequently asked questions
Was Rocky Balboa a real boxer?
No, he is a fictional character created and played by Sylvester Stallone. The screenplay of the first Rocky (1976) was, however, prompted by a real fight: Chuck Wepner against Muhammad Ali in 1975, where the outsider lasted into the fifteenth round.
Is the collar the same colour as the body?
No: the collar, the placket and the cuffs are black on all five colourways. It is a construction — separate pieces of fabric sewn together — not a print, so the contrast cannot fade out in the wash.
Is the polo printed on the back?
Yes. The front carries a small ROCKY logo on the chest, the back a large lettering across the full width of the shoulder blades. Both faces are printed.
What is the O in the logo?
The figure of the character with arms raised, standing in for the letter. It is the official logo of the series, used on posters since the 1980s.
How does it differ from the other Rocky polo?
This one is plain, more classic, in five colourways and up to 4XL. The colour block polo has a body cut in diagonal panels in three tones, a sportswear register, in four colourways up to XXXL.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 132 cm / 52 in on a 4XL.
