In short: single boxing glove keyring in metal with an aged patina, laces, palm seam and cuff all sculpted. Two finishes: aged bronze or aged copper. Link chain and silver-tone ring. Total length 10 cm / 3.9 in, weight 17 g / 0.6 oz. 14 EUR, free standard delivery.
One glove, not a pair. It hangs from a link chain and turns on itself as you pull the keys out. What sets it apart is the patina: the metal is not brightly polished but darkened in the recesses and lightened on the raised areas, like an object that has already spent a few years in a pocket.
The patina is what makes the sculpting readable
Look closely and you can pick out the lace eyelets, the seam running along the palm and the roll of the cuff. On a brightly polished glove those details sit in the reflections. Here the dark-to-light contrast of the patina makes them readable at arm's length.
Aged bronze or aged copper: what actually changes
- Aged bronze: a matt gold leaning towards olive green in the recesses. The quieter of the two, close to an old medal.
- Aged copper: a warm pink, brighter, with darker recesses. The more contrasted of the two, and the quicker to catch the eye.
In both cases the chain and the ring stay silver-tone: that two-metal contrast lifts the glove off the bunch of keys instead of letting it blend in.
Why choose this keyring
- Aged patina: dark recesses, lightened edges, and a contrast that deepens with use.
- Glove sculpted in the round, laces and seams visible on both sides.
- 17 g / 0.6 oz: no pocket sag, no strain on an ignition barrel.
- Link chain rather than a plain ring: the glove stays mobile and on show.
- Flat ring of a usable diameter, the kind you open without losing a fingernail.
- Two finishes at the same price.
- Free standard delivery.

Worth knowing before you buy
The patina lightens over time, and that is the point. A keyring spends its days rubbing against keys and pocket fabric: after a few months the raised areas of the glove grow brighter while the recesses stay dark. The contrast deepens rather than fades. That is exactly what an aged finish is for - our polished models are the ones to pick if you want an object identical in five years.
This is one glove, not a pair. Several keyrings in our collection carry two gloves; this one has a single glove, which is where its compact 10 cm / 3.9 in format and its 17 g / 0.6 oz come from.
Never use polishing paste. It would lift the patina out of the recesses in a few passes and the glove would lose its relief for good.
Care
A soft dry cloth is enough. If the metal has taken on damp at the bottom of a bag, wipe it and let it air dry. Keep household cleaners, jewellery cleaning baths and any abrasive product away: those are the three ways to destroy a patina.
Frequently asked questions
Do you get one glove or two?
One glove, hanging from a link chain. That is what gives it its compact 10 cm / 3.9 in format and its 17 g / 0.6 oz. Other models in our collection carry a pair.
What is the difference between the bronze and the copper?
Aged bronze is a quieter matt gold that leans towards olive green in the recesses. Aged copper is a warm pink, brighter and more contrasted. Both share the same silver-tone chain and the same price.
Will the colour wear in a pocket?
The patina lightens gradually on the most exposed raised areas while the recesses stay dark, so the contrast deepens with use rather than fading. That is how an aged finish works. Simply keep polishing paste away, as it would remove the patina for good.
How big is this keyring?
About 10 cm / 3.9 in in total length, ring and chain included, for a weight of around 17 g / 0.6 oz. Light enough for a car keyring and large enough to be noticed.
Does it make a good gift for a boxer?
It is one of the safest gifts in the collection: no size to know, a contained price, and an object used every day. The aged finish gives it more character than a bright coloured keyring.
Can you clip it to a gym bag?
Yes, the flat ring slides onto a zip pull or a strap. Many people prefer that to a keyring: the glove stays on show and rubs less.
