Born in Saint-Denis, north of Paris, to parents of Dominican origin, Leonardo Mosquea grew up in an environment where boxing was above all a school of life. 19 December 2025: knockout win in round 8 against Jeison Troncoso
In front of nearly 2,000 supporters in Cayenne, Leonardo Mosquea marked his return with a stoppage in round 8 against the Colombian Jeison Troncoso. A fight controlled technically and tactically, after several months out with injury.

Back in his Guianese stronghold after a year disrupted by injury, “The King” found all his sharpness again. Against a solid Troncoso he executed his fight plan and finished it in the eighth. A performance that put his march towards a world title back on track — and set up his 19th win, six months later, on the same Cayenne ring.
June 2025: another win against Ivan Gabriel Garcia in Bron
In June 2025, Leonardo Mosquea fought in front of his home crowd at the Hall des Sports Marcel Sultana in Bron. Against Ivan Gabriel Garcia, “The King” imposed his rhythm and finished inside the distance, by referee stoppage in round 9. Another win that kept both his unbeaten record and his momentum intact heading into the end of 2025.

14 December 2024: European title against Cheavon Clarke in Monte Carlo
The biggest night of his career. At the Salle des Étoiles in Monte Carlo, on a card broadcast live on DAZN, Leonardo Mosquea faced the highly rated British prospect Cheavon Clarke. He put him down in the first round and won by split decision to take the EBU European cruiserweight title.
In front of the DAZN cameras and an international audience, “The King” produced the finest performance of his career against a respected opponent. That European title, won in Monaco after a close contest, pushed him to the front of the continental scene and truly launched his run at the world rankings.
