The move becomes a reflex at the gym: pick the bottle up, press the cap, and the temperature shows in figures on the screen set into its centre. You know before you drink whether the coffee is still scalding or the water has drifted to room temperature in your bag.
304 steel, the food grade
The inner wall carries the SUS 304 stamp, visible at the bottom of the bottle. It is the stainless grade used in professional kitchens: it does not rust, does not pass on a metallic taste and handles acidic drinks such as lemon juice or isotonics.
The temperature display in practice
An LED screen is built into the cap. A press or simply picking the bottle up wakes it, and it shows the drink temperature in degrees Celsius. The screen switches off on its own.
It is not a gimmick: it is what stops you scalding yourself on a hot drink after two hours in a bag, and what tells you whether the water is still genuinely cold before you go back on the bag.
Vacuum double wall: 12 to 24 hours
The insulation comes from the vacuum between the two steel walls. With no air, heat stops moving. That is what gives up to 24 h cold and 12 h hot, and what keeps the outside of the bottle from ever getting hot, or beading with condensation inside a bag.
Five colourways, two with the mark
- White: the Esprit Boxe mark and the FOR THE GLORY line printed in black on the body.
- Black: the same mark in gold, on a matt body.
- Red: plain body, glossy metallic finish, no mark.
- Blue: plain body, glossy metallic finish, no mark.

500 ml: the right size for a session
A boxer loses between 0.5 and 1 litre / 17 and 34 oz of sweat per hour depending on intensity and gym temperature. A standard hour and a half session, breaks included, is covered by 500 ml / 17 oz taken in small mouthfuls rather than in one go — drinking it down right before going back on the bag is the surest way to a stitch.
Its 7 cm / 2.8 in diameter fits almost every side bottle pocket on a gym bag, which is not the case for 750 ml and 1 litre formats.
Good to know before ordering
Never run the cap under water. It is the most important line on this page: the electronics and the display battery sit inside it. The body of the bottle rinses freely, the cap is wiped with a damp cloth and nothing more.
No dishwasher, no microwave. A dishwasher would destroy the cap electronics; the microwave is out on any steel container as a matter of course.
The mark is surface printed on the white and the black. It holds up to normal use; a rinse in warm soapy water and a soft cloth keep it sharp for years.
Care
Rinse the body in warm soapy water after each use, with a bottle brush if you put anything other than water in it. Dry with the cap off: an insulated bottle closed damp develops odours within days. For a deep clean, leave a little diluted bicarbonate in warm water to work for an hour, then rinse. The cap does not go in water.
