What the gold outline gives you
The contour is stitched in a separate gold thread, laid down after the fill: it is what lifts the letters off the black ground, where turquoise or red alone would sink into it. At four metres you read the logo and its colour; at one metre the outline and the foam-backed relief come through. A second TMT in gold sits at the back above the closure.
