In short: The snake head on a black and red honeycomb ground with vertical lettering. The most worked version in the family. 8 sizes, XS to 4XL. €29.
The snake head, or the most legible logo in MMA
A combat-sports logo has to pass one test: stay identifiable at ten metres, in movement, on compressed video. That is why the brands in this sector favour closed shapes and symmetry — a fine drawing disappears the moment a fighter moves.
A snake’s fangs meet that brief exactly: two vertical strokes under a triangular head, all of it symmetrical. There is nothing to lose at distance, because there is almost nothing there to begin with. It is the same reasoning behind a football crest or a road sign.
What the shorts look like
Black ground structured by a hexagonal honeycomb pattern, with broad red areas set obliquely across the hip and the hem. The white snake head sits on the right thigh, with red and white vertical lettering beside it.
The waistband is black with the same hexagonal pattern. Sublimated print.
Honeycomb, a ground that works in movement
The hexagonal pattern is not structural: it is printed, and the strength comes from the polyester and the seams. Its job is optical. A plain ground reads as a flat surface; a regular grid deforms with the fabric and makes the movement of the leg legible.
The oblique red areas follow the same logic, marking the hip-to-knee diagonal. For the full detail of the fight short cut, see the grey geometric fight short.

Worth knowing: the honeycomb is what separates this from a plain black short at distance. Standing still they look similar; in movement the grid tracks the leg and the plain ground does not.
Getting the size right
European cut — take your usual size. Eight sizes, XS to 4XL, where most of the market stops at XXL on a fight short. The honeycomb is scaled per size, so the grid holds the same density from XS to 4XL. The drawcord takes up a change in waist measurement. In a groin guard, go one size up.

Frequently asked questions
What is the hexagonal pattern on MMA shorts for?
It is printed, not structural: strength comes from the polyester and the seams, not the drawing. Its role is visual — a regular grid deforms with the fabric and makes leg movement legible, where a flat ground reads as a flat surface.
What is the difference between MMA shorts and boxing shorts?
An MMA short is built for the ground as well as the feet. It runs longer, to just above the knee, with a side slit on each leg so a closed guard and a leg pass do not bind the hip, and a flat drawcord waistband that stays tied when an opponent pulls on it. Boxing shorts have none of that.
Do these fit true to size?
Yes. European cut — take your usual size. Eight sizes run XS to 4XL. The drawcord takes up a change in waist measurement. If you train in a groin guard, go one size up.
Does the print wear off in the wash?
No. The design is sublimated into the fibre rather than laid on top of it, so there is no layer to crack or peel on the mat. Wash inside out at 30 °C / 86 °F and skip the fabric softener.
Do these come in big and tall sizes?
Yes, up to 4XL. Most of the market stops at XXL on a fight short.
How do you wash MMA shorts?
Machine wash inside out at 30 °C / 86 °F, no tumble dryer, and no iron on the design. Avoid fabric softener: it coats the weave and slows how fast sweat moves through it.
