The essentials: a braced wall bracket for a punching bag, with a diagonal support leg — a design that spreads the load down the full height (60 cm / 24 in horizontal by 50 cm / 20 in vertical). 6 x 6 cm / 2.4 x 2.4 in steel tube in a black finish, rated to 100 kg / 220 lb, with an anchor eye at the end of the arm. Supplied with 3 concrete anchors. Load-bearing wall required. €99 — free delivery.
The bracket for anyone who wants heavy build and clearance. Its 60 cm / 24 in reach keeps the bag well off the wall, and above all its diagonal support leg runs down the wall to anchor the structure over its full height: a design made to take big impacts, with a frankly industrial look.
What sets it apart
- Long support leg: load spread over 50 cm / 20 in of height, high rigidity
- 6 x 6 cm / 2.4 x 2.4 in tube in black finished steel: a generous section
- 60 cm / 24 in reach: the bag sits well off the wall
- Up to 100 kg / 220 lb, with a built-in anchor eye
The support leg design
This is the signature of the model. Rather than a compact gusset, the bracket rests on a diagonal support leg (around 58 cm / 23 in) that meets the wall lower down. The load of the bag is therefore not concentrated on a single point but spread over the full 50 cm / 20 in of height, giving a structure that stays rigid under snatch loads. A sound choice for heavy hitters and well-filled bags.
A reinforced steel structure
The frame pairs a horizontal arm in 6 x 6 cm / 2.4 x 2.4 in tube with its support leg, both in black finished steel. A welded eye at the end of the arm takes the bag, by its chain or its straps.
Wall fixing, hardware supplied
The bracket ships with 3 concrete anchors. Both the arm and the support leg fix to the wall to share the effort; mark the drilling points, drill, plug and tighten.
Important: a bag bracket must be fixed to a load-bearing wall (concrete, solid block or solid brick). Plasterboard and hollow partitions on their own do not take the dynamic loads of a swinging bag. If you are unsure, ask a professional.
The two 60 cm designs
At Esprit Boxe the 60 cm / 24 in reach comes in two designs, to pick according to your preference:
- With a support leg (this model): a long diagonal structure, load spread down the height, industrial look
- With a compact gusset: the 60 cm bracket with a triangular gusset, more discreet, supplied with a carabiner
Which bracket to choose
- Braced 60 cm reach (this model): support leg, up to 100 kg / 220 lb
- Compact, first bag: the 40 cm / 80 kg bracket
- Heavy bag at 40 cm: the 40 cm / 150 kg bracket
- 100 cm reach: the XXL 100 cm bracket

Frequently asked questions
What does the support leg bring?
The diagonal support leg runs down the wall and spreads the load of the bag over the full 50 cm / 20 in of height, instead of concentrating it on a small gusset. The structure gains rigidity and handles big impacts better.
How does it differ from the other 60 cm bracket?
Same reach (60 cm / 24 in) and same capacity (100 kg / 220 lb), with a different design: this model uses a diagonal support leg, with the load spread down the wall, while the other 60 cm relies on a compact triangular gusset, more discreet and supplied with a carabiner. It comes down to structure and to looks.
How much weight does this bracket hold?
Up to 100 kg / 220 lb, which covers the large majority of punching bags, well-filled models included.
What kind of wall can it be fixed to?
A solid load-bearing wall: concrete, solid block or solid brick. Hollow partitions and plasterboard on their own do not take the dynamic loads of a bag. If you are unsure, call in a professional.
How far from the wall does the bag hang?
60 cm / 24 in off the wall, which leaves real freedom to circle the bag and vary your striking angles.
